This Privacy Policy explains how 1TapTestimonials ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password hash, and profile details you provide.
- Customer content: video testimonials, text reviews, images, and metadata you or your customers upload.
- Billing information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We store plan, status, and the last 4 digits of your card — never full card numbers.
- Usage data: log data, device/browser type, IP address, pages visited, and interactions, used to operate and improve the Service.
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication and minimal analytics. See Cookies section below.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send transactional emails (account, billing, product updates you opted into).
- To respond to support requests.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
We process personal data under one or more of: contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (for marketing), and legal obligation.
4. Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with vendors required to run the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Mailgun / Lovable Emails — transactional email delivery.
- Cloudflare — hosting and CDN.
5. Data retention
We retain account and content data while your account is active. After cancellation, content is retained for 30 days then deleted, unless you request earlier deletion. Billing records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years).
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@1taptestimonials.com.
7. Security
We use TLS in transit, encrypted-at-rest storage, row-level security in our database, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to measure aggregate usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, though parts of the Service may not function.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our subprocessors operate. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
